Tourist falls to his death when Brazilian zipline collapses

Chilling film shows a traveler in Brazil on a zipline ride that turned out badly when a post supporting the link imploded and he tumbled to his demise.

The alarming episode was gotten on camera from various points as it was being recorded by both the person in question, Sergio Murilo Lima de Santana, and his accomplice, who was on the ground.

De Santana, 39, was floating down the fascination at the Canoa Quebrada resort in Aracati on Oct. 10 when its help structure unexpectedly fell, making him dive down into the sand beneath with a crash, video showed.

He was taken to a nearby emergency clinic where he was articulated doomed.

Aracati authorities accordingly prohibited all ziplines in the city and police were examining the hotel. The lethally defective zipline had last been reviewed in Spring, authorities said.
